- Hi,
-
- I've just got Wordworth 5 and I wonder if anyone else is having problems
- with print speed when using EPS images, in particular those exported from
- Eqed? I created a test page in both Final Writer 4 and Ww 5 with some text
- and two EPS equations. FW took about four minutes to print the page on my
- Stylus Color at 360dpi, I gave up after Ww had taken *45* minutes to
- complete about 2/3 of the page! Ww also seems much slower on other EPS
- images too although I haven't timed any of these yet.
-
- I've tried it on a bare bones Workbench (no utilities/hacks running) and on
- both my A4000/030 and my sister's A1200 but the results are still the same.
- Print speeds for plain text in both Ww and FW seem about the same.
-
- This is really bugging me as Ww5 seems like a good stable package but not
- being able to use Eqed equations means I can't use it for 90% of my work
- (reports for my engineering course).
-
- I've mailed Digita tech support and will report back here if they have a
- soloution. In the mean time I would be really interested to know if
- anyone is suffering from this or has any ideas what the problem could be.
-
- Thanks, Robert.
